I miss playing out and I miss Warped Tour among other things. I want to put together an all things warped kind of tribute band focusing on mostly skate punk (MXPX, Unwritten law, Bad Religion) Pop Punk (good charlotte, sugarcult, Rufio, mest) and the primary focus...3rd wave emo (taking back sunday, thursday, emery, early november, hawthorne heights, finch, something corp, story of the year) I wouldnt mind tossing a little 2nd wave emo (movielife, american football) believe it or not, a lot of this music is coming up on 15th and 20th anniversaries and I think theres a market to perform it live. I am a rhythm guitarist, pro gear, havent played with other is awhile so im gonna have to shake some rust off but I have been playing over 20 years now. I am 37 and I am seeking any combinations of lead vocals, lead guitar, bass, drums. hopefully someone would have some keyboard ability, or perhaps a full time keyboardist. and someone who can do one of those and scream. if screaming is all you bring to the table with no instrument ability, dont reply, I am a busy person, as I am sure most people my age are but I can devote an evening a week to practice. and thats what Im looking for out of bandmates. show up when we agree to.
