Rio Salado College's Annual Tamales Making Kit complete with ingredients, recipes & videos to make Tamales in the comfort of your home. Learn to make tamales in the comfort of your own home with this month's Rio Fresh Tamales workshop. How it Works- 1. Register for the event here on eventbrite. 1 registration includes product to make approximately 24 medium sized tamales. 2. Your registration includes all of the food ingredients and a recipe card(student agrees to pick-up their ingredients box at Rio Salado College's Cafe at 2323 W. 14th street in Tempe, AZ). Ingredient boxes are available for pick up on Friday 12/10/21 from 7am-5pm at the cafe. 3. All registrations will receive an email with links to videos that highlight major steps in the recipe process. 4. Watch the videos and follow along on the recipe card to make the dish(es) in the comfort of your own home kitchen any time that is convenient for you. 5. Ingredient boxes include chicken, red chile sauce, dry masa, butter, salt, baking powder, corn husks and recipe card. You will need to have tamale pot or you can turn another pot with a lid into a tamale steamer by creating a false bottom. Buen Provecho!
