Seeking a hard working and reliable stall cleaner to join our barn staff in Forestville, CA. Days and hours are somewhat flexible, as we are in need of morning and afternoon coverage. Mornings start at 7am and afternoons start at 3pm. Shifts range between 3-4 hours.
Duties include cleaning stalls and paddocks, cleaning/filling water buckets and troughs, blanketing, taking horses to and from turnouts, and throwing hay.
The ideal person will have relevant horse experience, the ability to push/pull up to 50lbs, and enjoy spending their work day around horses. Must be willing/able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Pay is $18-$20/hr. depending on experience.
