Yoga for Birthing a New Consciousness with the awakening energies flowing in with the Solstice and the Great Jupiter-Saturn Convergence. The New Light birthed by the Solstice on December 21 will shine forth coinciding with Jupiter and Saturn's Grand Alignment as they enter the house of AQUARIUS!! This is bringing a powerful shift in energy for awakening more of our consciousness! When we work with practices that elevate our frequency and expand our minds, like yoga and meditation, they can help us tune in and experience these cosmic, quantum, 5D, and heart-opening frequencies like the energetic waves flowing in now as we enter more deeply into the Age of Aquarius! Our practice: ~ Opening ~ We will begin with grounding breathwork, connecting us with our Higher Selves, the Earth, and bringing Gaia's refreshing energy into our bodies. ~ Align with the Cosmic Currents ~ Tune into the cosmic solstice frequencies with a breathwork practice that uses a mudra that aligns us with the Jupiter and Saturn energies. ~ Yoga Set ~ Our gentle yoga set will focus on releasing tension and resistance in our bodies and minds so we can let the sunshine and new Aquarian blessings in! ~ Gayatri Mantra Meditation ~ Often chanted at Solstice, this mantra celebrates the sun. It is a Sanskrit hymn from the ancient Rig Veda and one of the oldest mantras we know. It brings forth Divine Light for illuminating our minds dissolving darkness and delusion. ~ Sound Bath ~ Relax in Savasana and bask in the energies whilst being bathed in sounds from crystal singing bowls. ~ Closing ~ As we join our hearts together in gratitude, we bless each other, and all sentient beings in our Universe ~ What to bring ~ Pack your yoga mat, pillows, and I really encourage you to bring a blanket or two so you’re totally comfortable practicing on the earth and for staying warm during our deep relaxation sound bath. Bring water and pack your mask too! Numbers are limited to ensure social distancing. On December 21 in the Northern hemisphere, we experience the shortest day of the year, marking the onset of winter and the commencement of longer days. The opposite occurs in the Southern Hemisphere, where the longest day is experienced and summer begins This particular Solstice is so very special as it occurs with the Jupiter Saturn Conjunction!
