JOLIET, IL — For the fifth time in November, the Joliet Police Department has arrested 41-year-old city resident Jarrod "Luckey" Barnes, Will County jail logs show. Barnes' latest arrest happened early Thanksgiving morning. Jail records indicate Barnes' is known around Joliet by his nickname of Luckey. Barnes was booked into the Will County Jail on charges of criminal damage to property. His bail was set at $10,000. During one of his arrests, he attacked a Harrah's security guard and broke the man's eyeglasses during the confrontation, according to police. A review of Will County Jail records show that Barnes was incarcerated from: Nov. 3 through Nov. 9 on charges of assault, aggravated assault retail theft and theft. Two of Barnes' other arrests resulted in being released from custody on an I-bond including one incident at the McDonald's on West Jefferson Street where police say Barnes began screaming, spewing profanities and breaking chairs inside the family restaurant near Stryker Avenue. At the McDonald's incident, Joliet officers arrested Barnes on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.
