ELMHURST, IL — Elmhurst police took four men into custody in the last few days. Here is information from the reports: John McGowan, 51, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 1 a.m. Wednesday at Oak and North on charges of DUI and improper lane usage and on a DuPage County Sheriff's Office warrant. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.Carlos Cucol Cho, 20, of St. Louis, was cited about 10:30 a.m. Monday at West and St. Charles on charges of no valid driver's license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on bond. Eric Zaruma, 28, of Chicago, was cited about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday at York and Wrightwood on charges of obstructing identification, speeding and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released on bond. David Rueda Lopez, 32, of Addison, was cited about 4 a.m. Tuesday at Route 83 and Riverside on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no license plate light. He was released on bond. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
