Remember albums...even cassettes? You'd just as often wear one side out and not even get to the other side for weeks. The point is, you'd listen to ALL the music, not just the single or the track from the video. Today's digital music has people shuffling to a new track before the chorus and that's sad. I'd like to put a band together that brings more deep cuts and not the same fifteen songs KOMP or whatever NATIOOOOOON band is playing on Fremont. Even deeper artists from say, 1980-1995 or so. Stuff like Y&T, Ratt but NOT Round and Round, Priest but NOT You Got Another Thing Comin', non-makeup Kiss, maybe stay way from the Faster Pussycat ballad and hit Don't Change That Song or some Anthrax. Stuff that united us when we were younger and still illicit a response today. Any takers?
