Outdoor acoustic drone / "free folk" jam session - any interest?

Description

What's up. At the moment I don't have anything planned, but gauging interest. I love the music of ambient / drone "free" folk acts like Pelt, Loren MazzaCane Connors, Jackie-O MF'er, some Sun City Girls / Sir Richard Bishop, Charalambides, Six Organs of Admittance... really, I just love drone and folk! John Fahey, Sandy Bull, all those guys whip too, especially at their outer, more psychedelic limits. Was wondering if anyone else enthusiastic about this sort of stuff wanted to, like, get together at a park or something (preferably in the valley cuz I do not have a car lol) with some acoustic (or electric, if you've got a power supply) instruments and go nuts. Would love guitarists, fiddle / violin, cello, harmonium / shruti box, accordion, harmonica, horn + flute (or didgeridoo), percussion stuff... hell, pretty much any instrument sounds like a blast! I mostly play tenor guitar these days but I've also got a mandolin and a banjo, although I can barely play the latter. If anyone's interested I'd love to hear from ya - maybe jam sessions could become a regular thing, become more of a "band," who knows? Like I said, no real plans, mostly gauging if there are other locals who want to play this sort of thing. I'm vax'd and would prefer you be too, for the record.
