These are 2 sofa protectors that we bought some years back to protect our leather sofas as we had 2 small dogs that both had the instinct to scratch furiously like ‘making their bed’ whenever they laid on the sofa. They are not waterproof and I wouldn’t trust any of the few advertised as such. Waterproofing is a whole other topic. These are a thick, quilted, plush velour with rubber paw prints on the reverse that grip to help keep it in place. Each end has thick arm foldovers with pockets for remotes, etc. We only used them gently and then have had them stored after those 2 dogs passed. We’ve now inherited a tiny dog that doesn’t really scratch and we can get away with the thinner fabric covers we’ve been using for regular protection of our leather sofas.
