We are searching for a Box Truck Driver to transport beautiful framed artwork and supplies between our retail locations and our production facility. Work hours vary from day to day, but will be between 6:30 am - 5:30 pm. The role requires about 40-50 hours per week and reports to the Dock Supervisor. Job Overview: - Drive our 17 ft. box truck on 2 or 3 daily runs between our retail stores within the Chicago area and our production facility in the West Town neighborhood - Distribute internal mail throughout different departments at all locations - Verify items of incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records - Prepare small furnishings, home accessories and frames for shipment, including packing and creating labels - Light Receiving duties - Use a forklift, pallet jack, or dolly to move items in the shipping area - Help load and unload trucks Requirements: - At least one year of driving box truck with C license - Safe driving record and knowledge of Chicago streets. - Must speak, read and write English and have good verbal and written communication skills - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally throughout the day - Must be available to work Saturdays as needed - Forklift experience needed For consideration, please apply online at Artists Frame Service has been the country's best known, independently owned frame store for over 40 years.
