Non CDL Household Truck Driver Salary $17.00 - $22.00 per hour + Bonus and Tips General Description Drive 26 ft box truck, protect, load, unload and transport household goods. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, a person must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. • Valid driver’s license • Have an acceptable motor vehicle record. • Must be 21 years of age • Have the ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations. Handle receipts, read maps and road signs. • Meet and pass the physical standards for DOT Medical Card. • Have the ability to supervise crews of various sizes. Duties and Responsibilities • Responsible for loading/unloading and transporting household goods from origination to destination. • Complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Report prior to every job. • Secure all shipments by tie down straps as required. • Protect customer locations with floor runners, cardboard, door protectors and other pads in such a way as to minimize damage, where applicable. • Required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance; 150 pounds with assistance. • Manage crew members, be point of contact for customer and office. • Work Monday through Saturday. No Sunday’s. • Have reliable transportation to and from work. --- Household Moving Helper Salary $15.00 - $17.00 per hour + Bonus and Tips General Description Be part of a crew to help load, unload and transport household goods. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. • Must be able to get to work on time • Able to work in a team environment. • Communicate with customer and office staff • Have the ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations. Handle receipts, read maps and road signs. • Positive attitude and willing to go the extra mile for the customer Duties and Responsibilities • Responsible for loading/unloading and transporting household goods from origination to destination. • Complete walk through at origination and destination. • Disassemble and reassemble basic furniture. • Protect customer locations with floor runners, cardboard, door protectors and other pads in such a way as to minimize damage, where applicable. • Required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance; 150 pounds with assistance. • Packing personal household goods. • Work Monday through Saturday.
