Bexar County Clerk's Mobile Unit at Military and Veteran Services Center D-Day (Document Day)
We are honored to be a part of D-Day! If you are a veteran, active duty, reserve or spouse of a service member our Records On The Run Mobile Satellite Office will be at 1422 E. Grayson St. on December 4th from 9:00AM to 1:00PM ready to serve you with your records on the run!
We are excited to announce our Probate Department will be able to safekeep your will at this event!
The filing process for Depositing a Will for safekeeping is as follows:
• There is a one-time administrative fee of $5.00.
• The will is sealed in an envelope and placed in a secured fireproof storage cabinet. The deputy clerk does not review the contents of the will. The clerk will issue a certificate of deposit for the will upon receipt.
• The will may be removed at any time by the testator (person for whom the will is created), or, with a sworn written order, a person authorized by the testator may request to remove the will but must provide identification satisfactory to the clerk – Texas Estates Code Sec. 252.051.
