Every spring, the Foundation for a Drug Free World of The Americas holds its annual Drug-Free Heroes Awards Gala. Held in honor of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime International Day Against Drug Abuse, the chapter honors local, national and international officials and community leaders who have largely contributed to drug education, drug prevention, awareness, and overall community engagement.
