Three startup founders pitch for YOUR support! Pitches will start promptly at 8a. Can't attend in-person? View the stream here. You'll meet:  Sarah Kallile, founder of Lunnie, re-inventing the nursing bra; Melvin Andrews, founder Gem City Recycling, working to build a top-in-the-nation LED-recycling center right here in Dayton;and Anikka Masey-Ford, cofounder of New Season Wellness, pitching a new Elderberry Elixir line.Founders will pitch in-person at The Square in The Hub Powered by PNC at the Dayton Arcade. This will be the final edition of Early Risers in its current iteration. For five years, this community-supported pitch series has connected entrepreneurs to the people they need most, like first customers, key employees, mentors, investors, and more. Each startup gets 10 minutes to pitch, then the audience gets 5 minutes for Q&A. Attendees tap their networks to help connect these Dayton region founders with the right people to help them move their business forward. As pitch opportunities across the region have grown, the need for this monthly community pitch series has waned. In 2022, stay tuned for new opportunities to practice your pitch & connect with investors, champions and supporters. Launch Dayton is a collaborative effort to connect entrepreneurs to peers, resources, and supporters, and to tell the stories of our region’s thriving startup community.   We believe everyone, regardless of their background, should have the opportunity to determine their own economic prosperity.   We’re building this community by designing an easily accessible environment, high-caliber programming, and a connected network of champions, mentors and resource providers, enabling all entrepreneurs to succeed in their entrepreneurial pursuits.   Be sure to check out our signature events:    Early Risers: A monthly pitch event connecting three local startups to customers, resources, and investors.    Pints & Preneurs: A monthly networking happy hour connecting the entepreneurs, intrapreneurs, and futurepreneurs with entrepreneurial peers, fellow local biz lovers, and new friends and neighbors working to build a vibrant economic community across the Dayton region.
