Hey Folks -- Long-time drummer here but like plenty of folks - working 9-5 in another industry. Have kids. You know the drill. Hoping to find other local folks that want to get together and play. Maybe we'll gig at some point! But for now, my goal is just to get together and play our instruments and enjoy the activity we all love that we don't have enough time to do. I have a large basement that we can use for practice. Happy to store other people's stuff if it all comes together. What am I looking to play? Grew up playing funk and jazz. Love playing both. But also live in Nashville for a few years and also love some areas of the country genre. Long-story short: will play lots of stuff. However, not looking to get together to cover 80's hair-bands, Journey, and all of those typical songs. Let's play stuff that sounds like Tower of Power, or like old soul bands, or has telecasters and slide guitars. Shoot me a line to connect. Let's do this!
