It's been over a year since we have seen each other. Yesterday was the second Thanksgiving I've had to have without you. Even though I wasn't alone, I felt lost without you just like the year before. I wish that you knew that I had to do what I did and that I hate myself for doing it. For the both of us but more so, for you. I once made you feel warm, safe and loved but in the end, you couldn't have felt any of those things. I failed you. I find myself thinking about you daily, wondering where you are, what you are doing, if you are safe, are you in good or bad company, etc. You are still EVERYWHERE in this house and in my mind. I am constantly fantasizing about where we could be today if I hadn't made it impossible to see each other. Considering where we were the last time we spoke, I'd imagine you are much happier now than then. But that's all I can do is imagine... Even after everything, I still love you.
