Leaders, their boards and the individuals that support them will learn important parliamentary skills Leaders of faith-based, civic, non-profits and other organizations and their boards are being challenged with making decisions on issues that many of their members find controversial. As they struggle to meet the needs of their diverse membership, some have reached out to parliamentarians and other individuals to help negotiate fair and transparent solutions to what can be emotional and divisive issues. Others struggle with the basics such as “How to Conduct a Meeting”, “How Committees Operate” and “How to take Minutes”. The San Antonio Unit of the National Association of Parliamentarians is offering a Parliamentary Institute, reaching out to churches, synagogues, civic groups, non-profits and other organizations to help them address these issues fairly and equitably. The sessions will be conducted by highly respected and experienced Professional Registered Parliamentarians. If you are a leader or member of a religious or other organization struggling with difficult issues or needing help with important parliamentary skills, and those who work with them, please sign up for this institute.
