Killings will happen with illegal guns no matter how many and how strict gun laws are enacted. It has been proven: Gun laws will not stop or curb the flow of illegal guns anywhere or any time. Gun laws only affect lawful gun owners and they may have restrictions on the use of them that is grossly unfair to the legal gun owner. Criminals who funnel illegal guns into a city for fun and profit are just laughing at the legislation, for it has absolutely no effect on their activity. So go ahead, Mayor, encourage the creation of more gun laws. That will certainly stop all of the killings.
