Description
Do you live in Longview? Do you have a curbside recycling bin that doesn't get full every week? Would you like to make a little bit of dough every now and then for doing next to nothing?
I live in downtown Kelso, where there is no curbside recycling, and I don't have reliable & consistent transportation options to Waste Control just across the river--although I can see it from my kitchen window. Plus they stopped taking plastic 1s & 2s a few years back, as did the transfer station in Centralia recently did, who I'd been using since then.
I'd like to find someone who will pick a CLEAN standard-sized vinyl laundry bag full of CLEAN plastic 1s & 2s not more often than weekly, probably more like every two or even three weeks. You dump the contents in your bin then bring me the empty bag when you come to pick up the next full bag. My residence is accessible to anyone going just about anywhere within or to/from the county. I work early in the morning & am usually home by noon, so time is totally flexible as well as location.
Compensation is negotiable, I don't have a figure in mind, so I'm willing to listen to offers, but keep in mind, I'm trying to make this as easy as possible for the candidate, so I'm trying to stick to paying for what's appropriate. My hope is we can determine a figure based on week, month, or per run. If this seems like a fit for you, we can even make an arrangement to roll me down to Waste Control to cash in my aluminum cans (which can't be done curbside) every month or two for an extra stipend.
If this sounds weird to you, maybe it is, but recycling is very important to me, and there's no good way to do this around here on the bus, on foot, via Uptown Taxi, etc., I've tried it all. Posting this to see if I can manufacture a better option. E-mail communication is best for now.
