Great program with an emphasis on the practice of pulmonary medicine
We will all be excited to start the Spring. This is the only forum for pulmonologists from across the state to meet and learn. We have so much to learn from each other and get caught up. Bring your friends and family. Limited reserved rooms will be available.
The North Carolina Thoracic Society, a state chapter of the American Thoracic Society, was formed in 2017. The target audience for ths meeting includes physicians, scientists, qualified health care providers, public health practitioners, and other health-related professionals working in the field of lung health.
The objectives of this Society shall be:
To promote lung health for the State of North Carolina and environs.
To promote interest in research, treatment, and control of respiratory diseases and to cooperate with other medical societies or organizations in order to promote these interests.
To encourage and support clinical, epidemiological and other scientific research in respiratory diseases.
To encourage and support professional and technical education of respiratory disease prevention, control and treatment.
To encourage, support, and disseminate standards of care and best practice models in respiratory and critical care medicine.
Promote public awareness and other advocacy efforts to advance lung health
