Come join your community and NTP/CERT on Saturday, December 18th from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. The drill will start promptly at 10am so please be here BEFORE 9:30am to allow for time to sign in. The drill will end at 12pm and a 30 minute hot wash will be conducted immediately after. We expect to be out of there by no later than 12:30pm.
These drills will focus on following the Step-by-Step Guides found at https://documents.ntp-la.org
Location: Rose Hills Recreation Center, 4530 Mercury Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90032
These drills will be conducted in person but outside. Everyone is required to wear a face covering.
All skill and experience levels are welcome. If you have not trained with us or even if you are not CERT trained, you are welcome to attend and observe or join one of the teams.
Bring your response bag, vest, and radios to get used to carrying your equipment.
There will be positions at the Staging Area as well as on Incident Response Teams that will be walking in the neighborhood.
The Neighborhood Team Program - Los Angeles combines Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training and leadership with Ready Your LA Neighborhood training at the grassroots level to setup Neighborhood Emergency Response Teams in each community.
