Memphis blues singer-songwriter Reba Russell will perform in The Green Room at Crosstown Arts. TICKETS: $10 advance | $12 day of show Doors at 7 pm | Show at 7:30 pm Reba Russell and The Reba Russell Band are names synonymous with the Memphis music scene and the blues. Reba Russell got her start in the early 1980s with bands Visions, Portrait, and Reba Russell and the Portables. These days, she's fronting The Reba Russell Band, and she's covered most bases in the music industry. Reba is a published songwriter, vocalist, guitarist, backing vocalist, bandleader and producer, as well as a touring and recording artist. She and her band have toured throughout the United States and Europe and have released eight independent original blues albums. Reba and her band members have countless recording credits with a multitude of various artists. In 2018, The Reba Russell Band was honored to receive a brass note on Beale Street. Current members of the Reba Russell Band are Wayne Russell (bass), Robert Nighthawk Tooms (keys and harp), James Cunningham (drums), Jeff Jensen (guitar), and Reba Russell (vocals and acoustic guitar). Crosstown Arts is a contemporary arts organization dedicated to further cultivating the creative community in Memphis. We provide resources and create opportunities and experiences to inspire, support, and connect a diverse range of creative people, projects, and audiences. The spaces and programs we manage integrate varying components of exhibition, performance, production, education, and retail.  We welcome anyone in the community to join any of our events or projects, regardless of prior experience or expertise with creative interests.
