Press release from the City of Long Beach Parks and Recreation Department: November 24, 2021 Happy Thanksgiving from the Department of Parks and Recreation. The Recreation Center, Ice Arena, Magnolia Center and City Hall will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 25. Long Beach buses will run on a holiday schedule and there will be NO Sanitation pickup. City Hall and the Recreation Center will remain closed through Friday, November 26, 2021. The Ice Arena will open Friday with a Holiday Schedule, please visit longbeachny.gov/icearena for details.
