MALIBU, CA — The Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District will host a vaccine clinic at Malibu High School on Dec. 1 for all community members over the age of five, the district said. The clinic, hosted at 30215 Morning View Drive, is one of three upcoming clinics held by the district. Participants are required to sign up for an appointment using these links, grouped by age and vaccine manufacturer: Pfizer BioNTech ages five to 11, Pfizer ages 12 and older and Moderna. Shots will be offered between 2:30 p.m. and dusk. "We continue to encourage vaccinations for everyone age five and up. Our staff is now fully vaccinated. Student vaccinations in secondary schools have reduced the number of students out on quarantine due to exposure," Superintendent Ben Drati said in a news release. He added: "thank you for doing what is best to keep your family safe and your community safe." Here are the other locations the district will offer vaccines: Nov. 29: John Adams Middle School, 2425 16th Street, 2:30 p.m. to dusk Nov. 30: McKinley Elementary School, 2401 Santa Monica Boulevard, 2:30 p.m. to dusk Second doses or boosters will be given out at Malibu High School on Dec. 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
