Questions about professional Voice Acting

Hi, I have some questions about Voice Acting that I would love to speak with a professional or someone experienced in this area about. I have a professional background in audio as both a recording engineer for music and post sound re-recording mixer (ADR). I am familiar with the technical/production side of things but not the actual creative/VA part. Unfortunately none of my industry friends, colleagues, connections are in/from the animation side of things. If anyone is open to answering some questions, lending some tips/advice would be greatly appreciated! Cheers!
