Paid single session research study for families

Description

The Department of Behavioral Sciences is looking for families to take part in a study looking at relaxation techniques in developing children. During the study, parent and child will complete brief physical and mental health measures, as well as a simplified meditation session. The entirety of the study can be completed in one visit. To qualify, participants must be: • 18-65 years old • Biological parent to a 5-11 year old • able to get assent from participating child Earn $150 in cash upon completion of the following components: • 3-5 minute online pre-screener • Mental health screener (parent and child individually) • Physical health measures (child only) • Meditation and practice session (child only) All tasks can be completed in one visit and takes approximately 2-3 hours.
