Maintenance Technician - $22-30/HR DOE Start your career with a reputable Corvallis company that has been around since 1958. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team! Pay: $22-30/HR Schedule: Day shift, M-F Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities: • Review maintenance work orders as assigned; identify, recommend, implement and document optimal solutions. • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production or processing equipment; specific skills include mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding; may repair/replace motors, rebuild/replace pumps, repair electro-mechanical equipment, lubricate equipment; document equipment problems and solutions. • Perform general and preventive maintenance on plant buildings including pipe fitting and plumbing tasks, general electrical and lighting tasks, and work to comply with regulatory codes. • Repair gasoline or propane-powered forklifts as needed; replace work or broken parts, adjust brakes, lubricate, and overhaul when required. • Assist in making electrical installation/repairs as required (i.e., wiring). • Perform data entry into our computerized Maintenance Management System and use Microsoft Office software. • Must be able to work daily overtime, after-hours call-in, and weekend work as required to minimize operational downtime, particularly during adverse conditions and other production emergencies.
