Music, Music! A Passage of Time Through Korean Pop Music
This energy filled show will highlight Korean pop songs form 1950's to present day K-Pop. Live performers will sing a medley of chart hits. Dance teams will gyrate, spin, whirl to Korean Disco and K-Pop.
This annual public event commemorates the arrival of the first Korean immigrants to the United States in Hawaii in 1903. January 13th was officially designated Korean American Day through Resolutions in the US Congress in 2003 and in the Washington State Legislature in 2007
Attendees must show proof of vaccination. Only ticketed individuals will be allowed entrance. This is a free event.

Originally having arrived in Hawaii as tenant laborers to work in the sugar plantations in the year 1903, the Korean-American community now contributes greatly to the vitality of the local economy and participates actively in local, social, political, and cultural life.
