Create beautiful blue toned prints using digitally produced negatives and the cyanotype process.
◉ Cyanotype is a non-silver photosensitive solution that uses UV light for exposure, which means printing out of the darkroom! It can be used on a variety of surfaces. In this workshop with CPR Teaching Artist Hadley K. Conner, we will be experimenting with watercolor paper and fabric.
◉ Students can supply their own papers, taking care to avoid alkaline-buffered papers which can degrade the image over time.
◉ The instructor will create digital negatives for each student. Hadley will reach out asking for high quality digital images (at least 3MP) so please look out for her email.
◉ Students will leave class with instructional worksheets on the process and the creation of digital negatives.
