A Sunday Winter hike covering history, geology, and scenery along the Eno River. Learn about the historic West Point Mill before embarking on a trek along the river and through hardwood forests of West Point on the Eno City Park. Learn about how mills used the power of the river to operate mills and what life was like along the river during these times. Directions: Meet at the West Point Mill. The address is 5101 Roxboro Rd, Durham, NC 27704 The Eno River Association (ERA) is a 501c3 non-profit conservation organization whose mission is to conserve and protect the natural, cultural, and historic resources of the Eno River basin. Established in 1966, the Eno River Association works to protect and restore exceptional places that provide our region with clean water and healthy forests, wildlife and natural areas, and open space.  To date, we have permanently protected more than 7,500 acres of land for the benefit of current and future generations.
