Dogs (and their humans) will parade from the National Sporting Library & Museum to Brick and Mortar for prizes and a Happy Hour. Calling all naughty and nice canines to strut their holiday spirit in the first annual Dickens of a Dog Show! Registration: 11:30 a.m. - 12:20 p.m. at the National Sporting Library & Museum Parade: 12:30 step off. Parade from NSL&M grounds to the Mt. Defiance parking lot, where all parade participants will greet the judges. Prizes will be awarded for: ** Best Holiday Costume ** Best Costume with Middleburg Theme ** Best Dressed Dog/Human Pair Happy Hour: 1:30 - 3:00 in Brick & Mortar beer garden. Treats for canines and adults, plus a fun photo booth for dogs and humans alike! Presented by Old Ox Brewery to benefit Middleburg Humane Foundation MHF rescues, rehabilitates, and adopts our at-risk animals large and small, and promotes animal welfare through community outreach and humane education. We helped 1,488 animals in 2020 through our intake, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and community assistance programs.
