Description

The Christmas Bird Count is the longest running community science project in the nation. Now, anyone can get in on the fun! Tracy Aviary's CBC for Beginners group is responsible for surveying Liberty Park, and bird experts from Tracy Aviary will be on hand to help participants identify and count birds. Birders of all ages and skill levels are welcome! All training will be provided virtually, before the count. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Participants should bring binoculars and dress in warm clothing. We will be outside for the entire program. No binoculars? No problem! We will have binoculars and bird guides for you to borrow. Tracy Aviary inspires curiosity and caring for birds and nature through conservation and education.
