Come and piece together scraps from our stash and do just a little to save Mother Earth. Make a set of pot holders for yourself or a very nice gift. At Spark Makerspace, 7 Union Street New London CT, your teacher Melin will teach you how to create beautiful and creative pot holders from scraps on a sewing machine. All material provided by Spark . Please know how to operate a sewing machine. This class is intended for students at least 13+. These are a great and unique gift for the holidays! Spark Makerspace is a nonprofit membership-based organization in downtown New London, Connecticut. Our mission: Supporting makers with the space, equipment, education, and community to create a spark in their creativity. Members contribute monthly dues to share a full woodshop, 3D printers & electronics, printmaking studio, painting and drawing studio, glass arts, sewing room, shared office, classrooms space, and much more.
