Welcome to the inaugural Community Beer Works Chili Con Carnival celebrating the wonderful Brown Ale known as The Whale! We’ve asked four contenders to step up and take on our own chili with one very important stipulation: All participants must feature The Whale Brown Ale in their recipe! So who are the brave souls daring enough to take the CBW chili challenge? The Beer Keep...The Black Sheep...Free Street Tavern...Southern Junction…...have all answered the call of this leviathan food contest! PLUS! As a proud sponsor of The Whale Chili Con Carnival, our friends from Butter Meat Co. will be supplying local, organic beef to all contestants! Hungry yet? We haven’t even gotten to the best part! YOU get to decide who sinks and who swims with The Whale by voting on your favorite chili! The championship dish will be featured during Thee Barleywine Festival in February 2022. It’s going down on Sunday, December 5, only at the CBW Brewery & Taproom! Limited tickets are available for $25* and include FIVE hearty chili tastings plus your first beer!
