Mannes Sounds Festival has been presenting the talented young artists of Mannes School of Music and the College of Performing Arts of The New School at many prestigious concert venues and cultural institutions in New York.
This concert on November 30, 2021 is another exciting collaboration between The Mannes School of Music, Consulate General of the Czech Republic in New York, and the Czech Center New York.
This concert is a part of series of events, organized by Czech Center NY, observing the 80th anniversary of the great Czech composer Bohuslav Martinů's arrival in New York. Since Martinů taught at Mannes School of Music for eight years, from 1948 to1956, this is a particularly special and meaningful evening for the musicians.
