It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Come out and ROCK YOUR PINK! This is a Family Event! $5 children's tickets are available!The Standing Room in Hermosa Beach is partnering with Rock Your Pink Inc and local musicians to host the 4th Annual ROCK YOUR PINK music fest, raising awareness and funds to support cancer patient services in our area. Headlining will be the rock group Crow Hill Band, a South Bay favorite that has been electrifying the LA area with their rock tributes covering several decades of music. Their lead singer, Laryssa Densmore is a breast cancer survivor. She started the Rock Your Pink annual benefit to share the importance of breast cancer early detection methods, the awareness of support groups the community in this fight, through the unifying power of music. Deborah Bakke, the owner of The Standing Room, is also a breast cancer survivor - making this the perfect venue for sponsoring this event and helping to raise breast cancer awareness for our South Bay family. Deborah’s daughter Alycia and son Lowell who are the managers of The Standing Room, will also be playing a big part in orchestrating the night’s events. Other bands joining the line-up include one of South Bay’s favorite R&B singer, “Charis Rey & Friends”, the soulful sounds of "Brent George", and youth band Battle of the Bands awardees, “Behind Schedule”. Get ready for a great night of Rock n’ Roll celebrating the advancements made in fighting breast cancer and standing in solidarity with those currently impacted by cancer! Come on out South Bay and WEAR AND ROCK YOUR PINK at The Standing Room in support of this great cause! Rock Your Pink Inc is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to connect people with cancer resources in our community. All ticket donations are tax deductible.
