There are no activities planned for the day, so you may feel free to venture out on your own. The largest city of Mexico, Albuquerque, nestled amid the desert, boasts of modern Downtown and ancient Old Town as well. Explore the quaint and charming Spanish colony and stay at the hotel overnight. Drive over to Scandia Crest to catch a glimpse of the floating balloons in the sky. Continue towards Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks or the steep white cliffs. Go hiking at the jagged volcanic rocks and then drive over to Santa Fe at the foothills of Sangre de Cristo.
