Make some noise! Bring your high-energy 6-8 graders to our DJ Camp this winter! Campers will learn beat making + performance basics. 1-4pm. DJ CAMP, Grades 6-8. From 1pm to 4pm. Play those beats! At our high-energy DJ Camp, campers will explore the fundamentals of DJing while gaining an appreciation of all types of music. With the guidance of our teaching artists, students will experience the joy of music on a whole new level as they test out a variety of instruments, create their own beats, curate playlists and so much more! What campers will learn: DJ tools (cue points, scratching, looping, etc.)Basic DJ skillsPerformanceProblem solvingActive listeningSelf-reflectionSelf-confidenceCOVID-19 NOTICE The health and safety of our community is paramount. The skatepark is sanitized daily and hand sanitizer is available throughout. Regardless of vaccination status, masks are required at this time. A waiver is required to attend camp. In order to be compliant with state funds received from the Juvenile Services grant program through the Nebraska State Crime Commission, we are required to administer an assessment to help evaluate the effectiveness of our programming. By registering for this camp, you agree to have the camp participant complete this assessment.
