The 5K-ish Glow Run presented by GEICO Careers is a fun run on Saturday, Jan. 29. The 5K-ish Glow Run presented by GEICO Careers is a fun run to celebrate the debut of North Liberty Lights –– an illuminated winter display around Liberty Centre Pond – the evening of Saturday, Jan. 29. This fun run is 8-ish laps around the pond (if you’re serious about completing a 5K-ish run), but most importantly, we hope you enjoy this unique arctic trek on the trail at your pace so two time slots are available: 6 p.m. Runners (Recommended for ages 13+) 7 p.m. Joggers and Walkers (All ages, but recommended for ages 12 and under) Those under 18 years of age will need a guardian to sign a waiver at check-in. Please park at the North Liberty Community Center and walk under the Cherry St/Ranshaw Way underpass. Check in will be at the gazebo at the southeast corner of Liberty Center Pond. Each registered participant will receive a glow-in-the-dark medal and glow shoe laces at check-in to sport as you’d like during the run. This race isn’t timed and will not award any place prizes, so participants may leave upon completion of their run. Registration is limited, so don’t delay!
