looking for someone that clicks falls right in... has a natural feel for harmonies no heavy vibrato please think Gillian Welch et al, an un-show-biz-like voice; plaintive with a somber character. Our sound is earthy with smatterings of contemporary electronic ambience, unusual progressions and lyrics. Tom Waits at Roscoe Holcomb's house with Harry Partch, Eno, Ives, Byrne, angels and the devil. trad like ballads from the rural south, story songs... haunting and creative, a touch of gospel... A touch of jazz, folk and early country, all through a funhouse mirror; and straight up too. 2 of us so far i'm on fid and banjo guitarist works both electric and acoustic looking for an upright bassist and a great brush drummer and/or a great hand percussionists. Dreamy and different... $$?? forget it unless we actually make some lol-u get the picture... But gigs will turn up cuz we know the music scene. If $$ turns up, it will be down the road, equal shares of course et al We're both working audio engineers/producers as well so we know our way around gear.
