She wasn’t good at them and her mindset was that she could outwork her financial issues and if she didn’t look at them, then she wouldn’t have to know how bad they were. As you can imagine, that didn’t work well for her. When she finally decided to address the four years of invoices, 1099s, receipts, unfiled and unpaid taxes and heaven knows what else, it was easily the most humbling experience she has ever gone through. It also is a defining moment in her life - a moment where she decided she was going to take control of that area of her life. Fast forward and today, she has more confidence around her finances than ever. Today, Bethany leads a top producing real estate team, owns three rental properties and receives passive income through other business ventures.
