Welcome to the team registration for the Southern Sunshine BBQ Fest! Join us as we celebrate the art of outdoor cooking in Lake Wales, FL. Welcome to the team registration for the Southern Sunshine BBQ Fest! Join us as we honor Katie (KT) of the KT Sunshine Foundation and celebrate the art of outdoor cooking in Lake Wales, Florida!  We have a 2 day celebration planned and the Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned BBQ contest is a part of it on January 7 & 8, 2022! (Friday evening and all day Saturday) www.ktsunshinfoundation.com We are offering both Professional and Backyard divisions. $10,000 purse for Professional division and $2500 purse for Backyard division. Overall and all four meat categories we are calling for PRO 10 places, paying 1st - 5th and for Backyard we are calling 5 places. 20x40 spaces for professional (talk to organizer if you need more) 20x40 spaces for backyard. 20 and 30 amp electrical service, a few 50 amp (no extra fee), water at each site.
