Our client in West Austin (Near West Lake Hills) is looking to add Material Handlers to their growing team. They are looking for associates to help prepare samples and run tests on a variety of construction materials such as soil, concrete, compressed air, and plastic. The ideal candidates would demonstrate a strong work ethic, the ability to learn quickly, and open-minded to learning new procedures. This is a full-time position Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM and pays $17/hr. This position is overtime friendly at $25.50/hr where an occasional weekend could be worked. Job Description: • Organizing, cutting, and preparing construction materials • Setting up tests, recording data, and resetting the testing area • Some tests may involve heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) and most tests require detail-oriented associates • On-site training will be provided regarding the specifics of the different tests performed Job Requirements: • COVID vaccination mandatory • Must be reliable, comfortable working independently, and have a positive attitude • You must have your own transportation and show up ready to work on time consistently. • General labor, construction, or warehouse backgrounds are a plus but not required
