BRANDON, FL — Deputies investigated a crash early Wednesday morning in Brandon that left a man dead, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said. The driver crashed into a fence as he headed north on Gornto Lake Road, according to detectives. He was thrown from the vehicle. Authorities pronounced him dead at the scene. No other cars were involved. No other information has been released from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
