Students Donate Food To Families For Thanksgiving

MERRICK, NY — This is the time to give thanks and help those less fortunate. Members of the Chatterton School Student Council, led by music teacher Richard Nasto, organized a holiday food drive. They collected and filled nine boxes of pantry items just in time for Thanksgiving. Seven boxes were delivered to local Chatterton families in need, the district said. The remaining boxes were brought to the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School's food bank.
