STAMFORD, CT — With Thanksgiving on Thursday, the city has announced the upcoming recycling and sanitation schedule. All city offices and facilities will be closed on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day. There will be no scheduled garbage or recycling collection on Thursday. Thursday's regularly scheduled pickup will be collected on Friday, Nov. 26.Friday's garbage and recycling pickup will be collected on Saturday, Nov. 27. The Transfer Station/Scale House will re-open for regular scheduled hours on Friday and Saturday.
