BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — US 40 is closed at Campbell Boulevard Tuesday afternoon due to a crash that injured multiple people, according to officials.
Before 4:45 p.m., the Baltimore County Volunteer Firefighter's Association reported all east lanes were blocked on Route 40 in the area.
Five vehicles were involved in the crash, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration.
Before 5:30 p.m., state transportation officials said Route 40/Pulaski Highway remained closed to eastbound traffic. Westbound lanes were open.
