DANBURY, CT — CityCenter Danbury has promised to transform downtown into a "Winter Wonderland" with its "Light the Lights: Holiday Celebration on Dec. 4. This free event, open to all, will be held at the Danbury Library Plaza from 5-7 p.m. Mayor-Elect Dean Esposito and Mayor Joe Cavo will do the official "light up" of downtown, and Santa will arrive by fire truck. A parade of decorated fire trucks and holiday music — along with free cookies and hot chocolate — will usher in the official start of the Danbury holiday season.
