Here are the top stories in Boulder today: If you're in the midst of a Thanksgiving meal prep frenzy today, plenty of grocery stores in Boulder County will be open to pick up that missing can of cranberry sauce or additional package of biscuits. (Boulder Patch)This week, multiple Colorado counties followed the lead of Boulder County and implemented indoor mask mandates. Boulder has had a mask order in place since September, with the exception of businesses that are a "Vaccine Verified Facility." According to the county's website, more than 250 facilities are currently vaccine-verified, meaning it can prove that 95 percent or more of its employees and customers are fully vaccinated. (FOX31 Denver) The Community Foundation Boulder County distributed $370,000 through its 2021 Community Trust program. Over 100 nonprofit organizations in the county focused on animal care and welfare, environment, education, arts and culture, civic engagement, and health and human services received this year's grants. (BizWest) Starting Dec. 2, parking will be prohibited after 9 p.m. at open space parking areas on Flagstaff Mountain due to criminal activity and damage to natural resources, according to the City of Boulder.
