JERSEY CITY, NJ — A Jersey City man was arrested on Tuesday morning for charges of sexual assault against a minor. The 38-year-old man is accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl whose family he knew, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office. The assault began in October 2020 in a Jersey City residence. The man was arrested following a Special Victims Unit investigation that started on Nov. 18. He will be held in the Hudson County Correctional Facility in Kearny pending his first appearance.
